MOT booked for 4pm Monday.

A tiny weep on the petrol tank resulted in me taking it off to investigate. :(

21 pin prick holes :o found under tiny bubbles in the paint (probably a godsend???)

21 holes soldered up :D

Tank temporarily re painted. Plan is to make a new one over the winter 8-)

The original 6 volt dynamo is DEAD  Off to my pal near Boston to see what he can do

Anyway it runs and it drives and I have a video of that first drive :P

I'm fitting the fabric roof now and working through a snag list.

There was a cream and green BSA three-wheeler down at the BSAOC annual camp yesterday.

So of course I had to wander over and ask :
"I bet you know Sloperman Pete !"
"Ja ! I know him ! I haf nefer met, but I talk on phone !"
I assume he was German, as his car had a foreign plate and a "D" country sticker.

Hazel will probably have photos.

I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Yep, I know a German chap with a 3 wheeler. He was at the BSAFWD club National Rally

I'm hoping to get down to Bedfordshire in the van next Friday.

There's a Royal Enfield camp going on and my pal is organising it.

I've located another dynamo nearby in Biggleswade so hopefully I'll kill 2 birds with one stone.

He did say he'd been at that rally - so does that mean he has met you ?

I forgot to ask him what the German TUV folk made of his BSA - I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he's not allowed to drive it on German roads.

Biggleswade _ Isn't that a famous flying tennis player ?

Read all the Biggles books when I was a kid.Captain WE Johns (he wasn't a Capt, just called himself that) As I got older I wondered about Biggles's relationship with Ginger but then thought "Nahhhhhhh not with a Ginge"

Well it's finished and ready for MOT on Monday. I fitted the fabric roof this morning and did various fettlin' jobs, greasing, adjusting brakes etc.
