Nope, she tried to blag her way in, but I told the saggy arsed, horse faced, skank where to get off.
Quite right too, its the only language these people understand.

All the show bikes are 'tagged' - if you haven't got the matching counterfoil that goes with your bike's tag you can't get out, and the racecourse gates are locked up at night (perhaps I should have mentioned, just for the uninformed, the venue is Uttoxeter Racecourse)
Also, much as with the Virago Owners, the plan would be to not be camped very far away from the bikes.
Additional : If there are any tea-leaves there, then there are likely to be FAR more attractive targets !
Any opportunistic thieves are likely to be day visitors anyway, rather than folks camping for the duration, so they'll have f*cked off out of it by teatime.
I'm not aware of any theft issues over the years that the show has been running.
I'm just a bit anxious (paranoid?) about my Velton - if it is ready - as it is basically a pile of expensive, easily detached parts!
Alloy fuel tank only held on by a catch, for example.
Still, the chances of it being roadworthy are not amazingly high.
It will probably be as safe at Uttoxeter as anywhere, they are very security conscious. Also, it's a VJMC event so I would think Jap classics would be more at risk than anything else. What's your alloy tank look like? Would it suit any of my bikes? (Totally unrelated enquiry! ;) )

Thats assuming I still own it then, I change bikes a lot, easily get bored of them.

Hooli and Jamie will be the forum Pan euro section  Velton, stick the bike in someones tent? (as in those huge tents with porch, I might try and get one). Be good to have some bikes that the brit snobs will try and say aren't classic, get the idea out that you don't always need british, 50 years old and hideously unreliable (stands back for fireworks)
