Thumpers Linc's Camp with pictures

Postby Pete (Sloperman) » Mon Jul 26, 2010 9:56 am

A great weekend was had by the 5 people that turned up. 4 of them from "over there"!!!
Where was everyone???
We were camped at a great bike friendly pub, 3 guest ales on tap and the Saturday roadrun was mind blowing.
60 miles of unmarked and unspoilt Wolds roads with a pub stop en route.

Back at camp we dined on roast gammon cooked in my paraffin oven, Boston "tates" and fresh peas.

All this was washed down with many pints of "Easy Rider" ale. In fact, we drank them dry!

Here's some pictures. Click 'em............

It was a shame your weekend clashed, or was too close to too many other things.
My excuse is that I was at Velton's birthday party.
Gus

I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
